Allison English
Deputy CEO, Leesman
Allison joined Leesman in 2018 as Client Services Director to involve herself in purpose-led work which would help improve employee experience. Having worked in offices around North America, APAC and EMEA, Allison’s exposure to various work environments and cultures results in a unique perspective of the workplace and how people interact with it. Client collaboration and developing strong partnerships have been central throughout Allison’s career, which has seen her appointed as Leesman’s Deputy CEO in March 2020.

Emma Kane
UK Chief Executive and Deputy Group CEO, SEC Newgate
Emma Kane is a strategic communications expert who specialises in crisis management and corporate/financial communications. Her career spans over three decades. She is the UK CEO and Deputy Group CEO of SEC Newgate, the award-winning communications and advocacy group that operates across 5 continents, is the 21st largest communications group in the world, and employs 1,200 people. In 2023, SEC Newgate was ranked in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work. Emma was recognised for her distinguished contribution to the communications sector with the Freedom of the City of London award in 2017 and became a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Wheelwrights in 2023 (whose charitable focus is on accessibility). Since 2020, she has been included every year in the ‘PR Week UK Power Book’, the definitive guide to the brightest and most influential PR professionals in Britain and since 2022 has been a Judge for the PR Week Global Awards, the leading awards for the communications industry. Emma is also actively involved in philanthropic work. She is currently Deputy Chair of the Elton John AIDS Foundation and Chair of Target Ovarian Cancer.

Melissa Snover
CEO and Founder at Nourish3d and Script3d
Melissa Snover is an award-winning entrepreneur and visionary in the world of food technology and 3D printing. She is passionate about developing innovations which offer solutions to her customers, challenge her competitors, and disrupt current market offerings. She is currently the founder and CEO of Rem3dy Health which pioneers personalised solutions across preventative and curative health under the brands Nourished (Personalised Nutrition) and Scripted (Personalised Medicine). In 2019 Melissa raised the highest ever female founder seed round in UK history for Rem3dy and is an ambassador for women’s equal access to finance. She is an avid supporter and mentor; supporting young people of all backgrounds to begin studying in STEM fields and is a passionate and proactive advocate for women in business.

Helen Chorley
Angel Investor on Sky TV's 'Property Elevator'
Angel Investor on SkyTV’s ‘Property Elevator’ Helen Chorley is the original female “Dragon” on SkyTV’s “Property Elevator” show, the Dragon’s Den of property investing. Once an investment banker with JPMorgan she is now a friendly face in the world of real estate, co-founding the Property Sisters UK community, and champions female visibility as a judge for many industry awards including the Women In Construction Awards. She also writes for Property Investor Magazine and acts as Board Executive for a key handful of investment companies and start ups.

Micky Lawler
President of the Women’s Tennis Association
Micky was appointed as President in October 2014. She brings close to three decades of sports and entertainment expertise to the organization, during which time she has played an important role in strengthening the geographic footprint and commercial value of women's tennis. During her tenure, she has propelled growth in all aspects of the tennis business across athletes, events, sponsorship sales and consultancy by leading various campaigns designed to further champion women and female athletes. Coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic, Lawler activated new opportunities to accelerate the WTA’s commercial investments, including the largest title sponsorship in WTA History with medical technology company, Hologic, new financial services, mental health and wearables partnerships, and welcoming the WTA’s first authorized gaming operator.

Vanessa Brady OBE
CEO and Founder of British & International Design – SBID
Vanessa is an international multi-award winning Interior Designer, Business Consultant and Founder of the Society of British and International Design. Vanessa has amassed an award winning portfolio including projects such as Hard Rock Cafe, the Design Council, Kabaret Club, British Luxury Club, Unilever, high security government offices, His Majesty The Sultan of Brunei, King of Saudi Arabia, Head of State Palaces, the private residence of numerous diplomats and VIPs. In 2014 she began a collaboration with Sunseeker International on the new Predator II yacht. She is an inspirational speaker and spokesperson for Interior Design and an awards judge to her peers within the design profession across a variety of disciplines. In recognition of her high standard and design flair, Vanessa has been acknowledged for a number of high level Awards; most recently the 2014 Woman in the City ‘Woman of Achievement Award for the Built Environment’. Nominated in 2010, 2013 and 2014 by NatWest Bank for the NatWest everywoman Award’s.

Dr Heather Melville OBE
Senior Managing Director at Teneo
Heather has a career spanning over 40 years in financial services. Heather is a thought leader of business, an innovator with a notable track record of building high performing diverse teams. Heather has acted in an advisory capacity to FTSE CEO's across a multitude of industries and sectors. Heather is a sought after public speaker and has addressed senates, royalty and global audiences worldwide. Heather is also a member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC) and the CFO's Diversity Forum for Business in the Community (FTSE100). Heather has worked in partnership with HRH the Duchess of Edinburgh as part of her role as the Chair CMI Women. Heather also assisted Queen Maximus of the Netherlands with advisory for her women in entrepreneurship programme. Heather received her OBE for services to business in 2017 and has recently been appointed as the black chancellor of the University of York. Heather is also the Patron of Women in Banking and Finance. Heather also supports a number of charities and not for profits in an advisory capacity, and currently sits on the board of Enterprise Enfield.

She brings an unconventional perspective birthed from two near death experiences as a young child. He was BBC Radio 1Xtra’s first DJ singing and has interviewed some music greats including, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce and Janet Jackson to name a few. Today Ronnie is Head of Music at Mi Soul Radio and presents drive time. He is also the Co- Founder of Funky Dory and DJ’s regularly across the globe.

Abi Farrell has been creating modern soul records for the 21st century since 2018. Named 'an artist on the rise.. a considerable talent' by Blues and Soul Magazine, Abi is known for her effortlessly pure voice and lyrical dexterity and has been carving a career as one of the UK's most sought-after young soul vocalists.

The first daytime female DJ's on Mi-Soul Radio. Janice & Lorraine have a weekly show playing their blend of funky house, disco and club classics. They have interviewed many famous names from the music industry including Snoop Dogg, Mariah Carey, Luther Vandross, Lauryn Hill, Louie Vega, Roger Sanchez.

HIL ST SOUL
British singer and songwriter
Hil was born in Zambia moving to London age five. She adopted her father's love of traditional Zambian music along with R and B/soul icons, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder. Hil earned a degree in biological sciences, however, whilst at school, she started to explore musical interests deciding to pursue music. Her personal motto is live life to the fullest and to spend your time doing what you love.

Standing on Great Queen Street, that connects Covent Garden with Holborn in the West End of London, is the Grade II* listed De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms. With a history dating back to 1775, the building has long been an important event venue, and was once home to the original Freemasons’ Tavern before becoming a hotel in 1909.
